Lionel Messi has the full sponsorship of Barcelona taking after his prison sentence and they have approached their fans to demonstrate their backing.

Barcelona have propelled an online networking effort to bolster Lionel Messi after the 29-year-old was given a 21-month correctional facility sentence by a Spanish court for being discovered blameworthy of monetary extortion.

The Argentinian and his dad Jorge were both given the same jail sentence for the offense, with the productive assailant fined €2million for three numbers of expense extortion and his father hit with a €1.7m charge.

Both men have dependably denied any wrongdoing and Messi's delegates affirmed on Wednesday that the five-time Ballon d'Or champ will battle his conviction at the Supreme Court.

Barcelona are resolved to demonstrate their star man they are 100 for every penny behind him and have now approached their fans to demonstrate their backing, as well.

"Barcelona have set up a crusade in backing of Leo Messi taking after the sentence issued this week against the Argentinian and his dad," an announcement from the Catalans peruses.

"Utilizing the hashtag #WeAreAllLeoMessi while posting a photograph or message with both hands open, the crusade is urging all Barca fans to express their sensitivity for the best footballer on the planet by voicing their unqualified backing on informal organizations.

"By making it clear that #WeAreAllMessi, we need Leo to realize that he is not the only one. All individuals, supporters clubs, fans, competitors, media and others are welcome to partake."

Neither Messi nor his dad is prone to invest any energy in jail as any sentence of under two years - for peaceful offenses - can be served under probation as indicated by Spanish law.
