A lady supposedly assaulted by a Commonwealth
Games swimmer has told a court he came into the room and began uncovering after she engaged in sexual relations with his companion.

Otto Putland, 24, who spoke to Wales at the 2014 amusements, is blamed for assaulting the lady following a night out in Cardiff.

Cardiff Crown Court heard that Mr Putland went into the room after the lady had laid down with Olympic swimmer Ieuan Lloyd.

Mr Putland denies the charge. 

In a video-recorded meeting played to members of the jury, the lady said she met Mr Lloyd, whom she had known for about a year, in a dance club in the city in July 2015.

The match spent the majority of the night together before backpedaling to his home.

She stated: "We exited his companion (Mr Putland) in the club with another young lady. When we returned to Ieuan's home we had intercourse."

The lady said Mr Lloyd at that point got up and left the room, leaving the entryway open, and that she could hear him conversing with the respondent.

Mr Putland at that point came and sat on the overnight boardinghouse removing his shoes, the court heard.

The complainant, who can't be named for lawful reasons, said she disclosed to Mr Putland "you can't pass me around".

She included: "I disclosed to him I would not like to have intercourse with him and he kept endeavoring to kiss me."

The lady said Mr Putland at that point evacuated his boxer shorts before putting on a condom.

The court heard Mr Putland halted after she revealed to him she required the can.

The court heard that the lady's companions at that point landed at the address and left with her in a taxi.
